WALK-UP FIELD HUNTS

If you enjoy farmland hunting, you are going to LOVE Hunter’s Ridge Hunt Club! We offer not just one but four different types of fields and cover to hunt in. Our fields are maintained and provide ample cover for birds so you can expect a challenging hunt no matter which field you are in.

Hunting season begins August 15, 2007 and runs through April 30, 2008. Reservations are required Tuesday-Sunday, and we ask that a one-week notice be given when reserving your hunt date. The club is closed on Mondays.

A valid Small Game License and hunter’s orange are required for walk-up field hunts. For your convenience, you may purchase either or both items at Hunter’s Ridge Hunt Club.

EUROPEAN HUNTS

Prefer the European flair? Then try a European hunt. This is pass shooting at its most challenging level. Hunters are posted at various stations surrounding the flight tower as the pheasants are released. High-flying fast moving birds whiz overhead in every direction and angle imaginable! Fast, fun and challenging, this is about as much excitement as you can pack into one hunt!

Hunter’s Ridge Hunt Club hosts several European Hunts throughout the season for its members. Our European field is prearranged with 10 stations holding 2-shooter teams per station.

Reservations for European Hunts are required. In the event that you cannot participate in the European Hunt you have reserved, we ask that you cancel your reservation two-weeks before the date of the hunt.
